We have had both of our female dogs fixed at this veterinarian's office and both are doing fine, over a year later. Their pricing is very reasonable and I chose this vet's office over the Hudson vet because I've seen that the staff in La Porte is much more friendly compared to those in the Hudson office. Their pricing is very similar, however I'd much rather have my pet stay overnight under the care of the the La Porte team vs Hudson.
Awesome place to go. I even had an emergency with my puppies and Dr. Gator came to my house to teach me how to tube feed the puppies. Prices are very good. Building is old, but this a small town operation. People are great or have been to us anyways.
The office and rooms were extremely well maintained there were people in the waiting room and still chairs to spare and there were none of the bugs or bad smells that another reviewer claims to have seen they were also very polite and easy to talk to.
Prices are very reasonable and the staff is great very friendly and have always answered my questions. The Dr. is very compassionate and attentive took my baby there for 10 years today we will take our final trip for cremation can't say enough about this place
I took a new rescue into here today When I called and informed the doctor on what was going on he didn't delay me he simply said come to the la port location I will be there in about a half hour. They processed me in a couple of minutes then led us to one of the rooms.
They also advised that we wait a week then bring him back for shots as it could be potentially a waste of money if his health continued to declined which if that happened they would run blood work.
We were attended to in short order they listened to everything I told them and even sat on the floor and tried to make my dog less nervous. Before we left they assured me that he would likely be fine and gave us some ideas to help him adjust to the house.
Friendly staff with great veterinarians who give wonderful care for reasonable prices, you can't go wrong. Years ago after paying more to hear, "there's nothing we can do" we went to LPV for a second opinion. Since then, all of our pets have recieved wonderful care from the staff at LPV, and have had their lives extended thanks to the devotion to care of the veterinarians that work there.
